OPERATION TURNING WHILE DRIVING REARWARD To turn the mower while driving rearward, move the drive control levers as necessary so that one drive control lever is forward of the other. OPERATION ENGAGING THE PTO Engaging the PTO transfers power to the cutting deck. To engage the PTO: 1. Move the throttle to the FAST position. 2. Pull the PTO switch up/out into the ENGAGED (ON) position. PRODUCT CARE Post-Operation Mower Care After each operation of the mower, the following procedures should be implemented to extend the life of your mower and ensure safe operating conditions. • Clean the top of the mower deck, under the spindle covers and belt area.
