TIP: When trying to do data recovery, the same volume configurations as the original must be set and all member disks must be installed by the same sequence as original or else data recovery will fail. CAUTION: The data recovery does not guarantee that the lost data can be restored 100%. It depends on the real operation and the degree of physical damages on disks. Users will take their own risk to do these procedures. Reboot and Shutdown The Reboot and Shutdown function is used to reboot or shutdown the system. Before powering off the system, it is highly recommended to execute the Shutdown function to flush the data from cache onto the physical disks. This step is important for data protection. Reboot and Shutdown
The
Reboot and Shutdown
function is used to reboot or shutdown the system. Before powering
off the system, it is highly recommended to execute the
Shutdown
function to flush the data from
cache onto the physical disks. This step is important for data protection.
The Reboot function has three options. These are reboot both controllers, controller 1 only or
controller 2 only.
