Nondisruptive upgrade and downgrade paths may be changed by Cisco at any time due to reported issues. Refer to their online release notes for the current paths. Generation 2 modules or switches can have one or more ports in port groups that share common resources such as bandwidth and buffer credits. If this command fails, reduce the number of zones, IVR zones, TE ports, or a combination of these in the system and issue the command again. Disable all features not supported by the downgrade release. Use the show incompatibility system downgrade-image command to determine what you need to disable. Use the show install all impact downgrade-image command to determine if your downgrade will be non-disruptive. Be aware that some features impact whether a downgrade is disruptive or non-disruptive: Fibre Channel Ports: Traffic on Fibre Channel ports can be non-disruptively downgraded. FCoE Port: FCoE ports can be nondisruptively downgraded without affecting traffic on the ports. Dell Connectrix Cisco MDS 9000 Release Notes 15
