For example: yum install iscsi-initiator-utils ; /etc/init.d/iscsi start To configure the iSCSI target for Linux, follow these steps. 1. Add the CHAP Authentication details for the DR Series system on the Linux Initiator as follows: a. Edit /etc/iscsi/iscsid.conf and un-comment the following line: node.session.auth.authmethod = CHAP b. Modify the following lines: # To set a CHAP username and password for initiator # authentication by the target(s), uncomment the following lines: node.session.auth.username = iscsi_user node.session.auth.password = St0r@ge!iscsi 2. To configure the iSCSI target for Linux, follow these steps.
