Lay the computer on its left side (see Figure 7) on a piece of foam or card-
board (to prevent damage to the computer) while you remove the feet.

Using a small flat-blade screwdriver, unscrew the plastic rivet securing each
foot.
c.
From outside of the chassis, pull each foot from the chassis.

Remove the two screws at the front edge of the top cover (see Figure 8).
(Retain the screws for later use.)

Slide the top cover about a half inch toward the front of the computer and lift
it away.
