Remove the tool from work surface before turning tool off. Allow the tool to stop rotating before laying it down. 7. All DeWALT dust collection shrouds are designed to work with the DeWALT Air lock™ universal DWV9000 connector. 1. Attach the DWV9000 connector 15 to your dust collector hose 19 . 2. Unlock the DWV9000 connector 15 and slide onto dust port 10 . 3. Lock the DWV9000 connector 15 to secure. OPERATION WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, turn unit off and disconnect it from power source before making any adjustments or removing/installing attachments or accessories. An accidental start-up can cause injury. 1. Ensure all assembly and adjustment instructions have been completed. 2. Turn the dust extractor vacuum on as instructed in the dust extractor vacuum instruction manual. 3. Start grinder as instructed. Refer to Slider Switch. NOTE: Allow the tool to reach full speed before applying to the work surface. Proper Hand Position (Fig. G) WARNING: To reduce the risk of serious personal injury, ALWAYS use proper hand position as shown. Proper hand position requires one hand on the side handle, with the other hand on the body of the tool, as shown in Figure G. Fig. G 20 Slider Switch (Fig. A) CAUTION: Hold the side handle and body of the tool firmly to maintain control of the tool at start up and during use and until the wheel or accessory stops rotating. Make sure the wheel has come to a complete stop before laying the tool down. NOTE: To reduce unexpected tool movement, do not switch the tool on or off while under load conditions. Allow the grinder to run up to full speed before touching the work surface. Lift the tool from the surface before turning the tool off. Allow the tool to stop rotating before putting it down. WARNING: Before connecting the tool to a power supply, be sure the slider switch is in the off position by pressing the rear part of the switch and releasing. Ensure the slider switch is in the off position as described above after any interruption in power supply to the tool, such as the activation of a ground fault interrupter, throwing of a circuit breaker,
