2‐4 Using "Quick Setup" This broadband router's "Quick Setup" allows you to set up basic parameters in a few simple steps. The following instructions illustrate how to use the "Quick Setup" menu: 1. Click "Quick Setup" after logging in. 2. Configure automatic time synchronization settings, and then click "Next". Item Name Set Time Zone Time Server Address Daylight Saving Description Please select the time zone of your country or region. If you cannot find your country/region, please select another country/region whose time zone is the same as yours. This router supports NTP (Network Time Protocol) for automatic time and date setup. Input the host name or IP address of the NTP server here. If you do not know the host name, please ask the network administrator or use "pool.ntp.org". If your country/region uses daylight saving time, please check the "Enable Function" box, and select the start and end date. 27

4 Using “Quick Setup”
This broadband router’s “Quick Setup” allows you to set up basic parameters in a few
simple steps. The following instructions illustrate how to use the “Quick Setup” menu:

Click “Quick Setup” after logging in.

Set Time Zone
Please select the time zone of your country or region. If you
cannot find your country/region, please select another
country/region whose time zone is the same as yours.
Time Server
Address
This router supports NTP (Network Time Protocol) for
automatic time and date setup. Input the host name or IP
address of the NTP server here. If you do not know the host
name, please ask the network administrator or use
“pool.ntp.org”.
Daylight Saving
If your country/region uses daylight saving time, please check
the “Enable Function” box, and select the start and end date.
