Using Media Players Supported File Types The nüvi supports MP3 and FLAC music files, and M3U and M3U8 playlist files. Creating and Listening to Playlists Using your nüvi, you can listen to playlists created on your computer. You can also save playlists using your nüvi. To save your current playlist: 1. While listening to music, touch Browse > Playlists > Current Playlist > Save. 2. Enter a name for the playlist, and touch Done. To create a new playlist: 1. In the Music Player, touch Browse > Playlists > New. 2. Select a song from a category, and touch Save. 3. Enter a name, and touch Done. 4. To add more songs to your new playlist, touch Edit > Add Songs. 28 To create a playlist on a computer: 1. Using your computer and an audio program, create a playlist of music files. Save the playlist as an M3U or M3U8 file. note: You might need to edit the playlist file with a text editor, such as Notepad, to remove the path (link) to the music file. The playlist file should only list the music file names. Refer to the Help file for the audio program. 2. Transfer the playlist and the music files to the nüvi or the microSD drive (see pages 32-33). The playlist file must be in the same location as the music files. To play a playlist: 1. In the Music Player, touch Browse > Playlists. All available playlists appear. 2. Using your nüvi, you can listen to
playlists created on your computer. You
can also save playlists using your nüvi.
To save your current playlist:
1. While listening to music, touch
