Replacing or adding memory The Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory (SDRAM) Dual Inline Memory Modules (DIMMs) supported by your system board conform to the following standards: s 64 MB, 128 MB, 256 MB, and 512 MB ECC DIMMs. s PC133-compliant, registered, parity, ECC SDRAM. Memory is installed in four banks (slots) on the system board. When you are selecting and installing DIMMs, keep the following in mind: s Registered DIMMs should not be combined with unbuffered DIMMs. s Memory must be installed in reverse order, from right to left (from bank 3, through bank 0). s No jumper settings are required for the memory size or type because the BIOS automatically detects this information. s 2 GB maximum system memory. To replace DIMMs: 1 Turn off the system and disconnect the power cord, modem cord (if installed), and all external peripheral devices. 2 Observe all safety and static electricity precautions. (See "Preventing static electricity discharge" on page 22.) 3 Remove the bezel. (See "Removing the bezel" on page 25.) 4 Remove the left side cover panel. Replacing or adding memory
The Synchronous Dynamic Random Access Memory (SDRAM) Dual Inline
Memory Modules (DIMMs) supported by your system board conform to the
following standards:
64 MB, 128 MB, 256 MB, and 512 MB ECC DIMMs.
PC133-compliant, registered, parity, ECC SDRAM.
Memory is installed in four banks (slots) on the system board. When you are
selecting and installing DIMMs, keep the following in mind:
Registered DIMMs should not be combined with unbuffered DIMMs.
Memory must be installed in reverse order, from right to left (from
