Freezer is unplugged. The fuse is blown/circuit breaker is tripped. Lid left open. Too frequent or too long lid openings. Temperature control set too cold. Lid left open. Too frequent or too long lid openings. Temperature control set too cold. Inadequate air circulation space around cabinet. Room or outside weather is hot. Freezer has been disconnected recently for a period of time. Large amounts of warm or hot food have been stored recently. Floor may be weak, causing freezer to vibrate when compressor is on. Cabinet is not positioned solidly on floor. Freezer is touching the wall. Lid left open. Too frequent or too long lid openings. Temperature control is set too warm. Large amounts of water or hot food may have been stored recently. Freezer has been disconnected recently. Temperature control in off or O position. Freezer is unplugged. Push the plug completely into the outlet. Replace fuse or reset the breaker. Check to see if package is holding lid open. Open the lid less often.
