&& OnBoard USB3.0 Controller#1 (VIA VL800 USB Controller, USB 3.0/2.0 ports on the back panel) Enables or disables the VIA VL800 USB controller. (Default: Enabled) && OnBoard LAN Controller#1 Enables or disables the onboard LAN function. (Default: Enabled) If you wish to install a 3rd party add-in network card instead of using the onboard LAN, set this item to Disabled. `` Intel(R) Thunnderbolt && Wake From Thunderbolt Devices Allows the system to be turned on by wake-up event from Thunderbolt device(s). (Default: Enabled) Note: To use this function, you need an ATX power supply providing at least 1A on the +5VSB lead. && Reserved IO for Thunderbolt Specifies how many I/O resources are to be reserved for Thunderbolt devices. Options are: 4K~48K. (Default: 20K) When set to 20K, each Thunderbolt port can be daisy chain around 3 Thunderbolt devices. The greater size allows more Thunderbolt devices can be used. Each Thunderbolt port support up to 6 devices . (Note) Due to PC architecture I/O resources limitation, when set to 48K, the SATA ports controlled by the Marvell SE9172 controller will be disabled. `` Super IO Configuration This section provides information on the super I/O chip and allows you to configure the serial port. && Serial Port A Enables or disables the onboard serial port. (Default: Enabled) `` Intel(R) Smart Connect Technology && ISCT Configuration Enables or disables Intel Smart Connect Technology. (Default: Disabled) (Note) Due to PC architecture I/O resources limitation, the amount of the Thunderbolt devices can be used is dependent on the quantity of PCI Express and PCI devices be installed. If a PCI Express graphics card is installed, it is recommended that set Reserved IO for Thunderbolt to 40K or less. - 55 - BIOS Setup
