30 Quick Start Guide 6. Starting Up After installing your SIM card and battery and charging the battery, you can now power on and start using your phone. Turn on the power Press the END CALL/POWER button. Set up your phone for the first time When you turn on the phone for the first time and after touching the Android image, you will be prompted to sign in to your Google™ account. Note You need to be connected to a data connection service to set up your Google account. If you decide not to sign in to your Google account, you can still use the phone but you won't be able to use Google services such as Google Talk™, Google Mail™, and Android Market™. 1. Read the setup information on the screen, then touch Next. 2. Touch Sign in, or, if you decide to skip this setup, touch Skip. 3. Set the date and time and then touch Next. 4. Touch Finish setup.

6. Starting Up
After installing your SIM card and battery and charging the
battery, you can now power on and start using your phone.
Turn on the power
Press the END CALL/POWER button.
Set up your phone for the first time
When you turn on the phone for the first time and after
touching the Android image, you will be prompted to sign
in to your Google™ account.
Note
You need to be connected to a data connection service to set
up your Google account. If you decide not to sign in to your
Google account, you can still use the phone but you won’t
