56 Quick Start Guide 23. Copying Multimedia Files to Your Phone Before using Gallery or Music, copy pictures, music, and videos to the storage card installed on your phone. 1. Connect the phone to the computer using the USB cable. A notification icon appears in the status bar. 2. Open the Notifications Panel (by touching and then dragging the status bar down), then in the Notifications Panel, touch USB connected and then touch Mount. 3. On your computer, navigate to the USB drive and open it. 4. Copy your media files into the phone's storage card. 5. When finished, close the USB drive window and unmount or eject the drive as required by your computer's operating system. 6. Disconnect the USB cable from your phone and the computer.

23. Copying Multimedia Files to Your Phone
Before using
Gallery
or
Music
, copy pictures, music, and
videos to the storage card installed on your phone.
1.
Connect the phone to the computer using the USB
cable. A notification icon appears in the status bar.
2.
Open the Notifications Panel (by touching and then
dragging the status bar down), then in the Notifications
Panel, touch
USB connected
and then touch
Mount
.
3.
On your computer, navigate to the USB drive
and open it.
4.
Copy your media files into the phone’s storage card.
5.
When finished, close the USB drive window and
unmount or eject the drive as required by your
computer’s operating system.
6.
Disconnect the USB cable from your phone and the
computer.
