Chapter 2 Phone Calls 51 If you have a long list of calls in the Call History tab, tap Menu > Filter, and then select the type of call you want to display. To view the exchange of calls with a particular contact only, tap the Contact Card button ( ) that appears to the right of the contact. 2.4 Speed Dial Use Speed Dial to call frequently-used numbers with a single tap. For example, if you assign a contact to the location 2 in Speed Dial, you can press and hold the number 2 key on the Phone dialer keypad to dial the contact's number. Creating a Speed Dial entry Number 0 and 1 keys are reserved and cannot be assigned as speed dial keys. The number 1 key is reserved for voicemail. You can set any number between 2 and 99 as a speed dial key. 1. Press TALK/SEND to open the Phone dialer screen. 2. Tap Menu > Speed Dial. The Speed Dial list will be displayed. . Tap Menu > New. . Tap a contact, and then select the phone number of the contact that you want assigned to the speed dial key. . In Location, select an available key to use as the speed dial key. . Tap OK. Notes • When you assign a new phone number in an occupied speed dial key, the new phone number will replace the existing one. • To delete a Speed Dial entry, press and hold the entry in the Speed Dial list and then tap Delete.
