Quick Start Guide  5. Charging the Battery New batteries are shipped partially charged. Before you start using your device, it is recommended that you install and charge the battery. To charge the battery 1. Connect the USB connector of the AC adapter to the sync connector on your device. 2. Plug in the AC adapter to an electrical outlet to start charging the battery. The battery is fully charged after about 3 hours of charging. Note Only use the AC adapter and USB sync cable provided with your device to charge it. Use of unauthorized AC adapters may result in unpredictable behavior of your device. 6. Starting Up After installing and charging the battery, you can power on and start using your device. To turn on the power 1. Press the POWER button. 2. A Quick Start Wizard guides you through the calibration of the screen and the setup of time zone, date and time, and password. Follow the onscreen instructions to finish the Quick Start Wizard. After the Quick Start Wizard finishes, the device installs customization settings, then restarts.

5. Charging the Battery
New batteries are shipped partially charged. Before you start using your device,
it is recommended that you install and charge the battery.
To charge the battery
1.
Connect the USB connector of the AC adapter to the sync connector on your
device.
2.
Plug in the AC adapter to an electrical outlet to start charging the battery.
The battery is fully charged after about
3 hours
of charging.
Note
Only use the AC adapter and USB sync cable provided with your device to charge
it. Use of unauthorized AC adapters may result in unpredictable behavior of your
device.
6. Starting Up
After installing and charging the battery, you can power on and start using your
device.
To turn on the power
1.
Press the POWER button.

A Quick Start Wizard guides you through the calibration of the screen and

instructions to finish the Quick Start Wizard. After the Quick Start Wizard
