Start with READY in the display. 1. Press NEXT until ADMIN * displays. 2. Enter the administration password. Instructions for entering this password are in "Entering the Administration Menu Password" previously in this chapter. 3. TEST * displays. Press NEXT until CONFIG * displays, and then press ENTER. 4. Press NEXT or PREV until the name of the configuration you wish to set displays and then press ENTER. (Configurations are described on the following pages.) If the configuration has multiple settings, the current setting flashes. Otherwise, the configuration is set and a confirmation message displays. 5. If the current configuration setting is flashing, press NEXT or PREV until the desired setting displays, and then press ENTER. OPTION SAVED displays and then the configuration's name and setting displays. 6. Press CANCEL to return to READY. Turning off the jukebox in the next step could cause data loss if not done correctly. Do not turn off power to the jukebox until you are sure the SCSI bus is inactive. Removing power from a SCSI device when the bus is active can result in data loss and/or indeterminate bus states. Check your host system manuals for information about checking the SCSI bus status. If your computer is connected to a LAN, be sure to check with your system administrator before turning off power to the jukebox. 7. Turn the jukebox OFF, then ON to save the configuration to the jukebox flash ROM. Configurations are described in the following table. Chapter 3 3-19

CAUTION
Turning off the jukebox in the next step could cause data loss if not done correctly.
Do not turn off power to the jukebox until you are sure the SCSI bus is inactive.
Removing power from a SCSI device when the bus is active can result in data loss
and/or indeterminate bus states. Check your host system manuals for information
about checking the SCSI bus status. If your computer is connected to a LAN, be sure
to check with your system administrator before turning off power to the jukebox.
7.
Turn the jukebox OFF, then ON to save the configuration to the jukebox flash
ROM.
