Loading tray 3 (500-sheet tray) 1 Tray 3 supports only paper (A4 and Letter). To load tray 3 1 Pull the tray out of the printer and remove any paper. 2 To adjust for letter-size paper, pull up on the rear paper stop. To adjust for A4-size paper, push the rear paper stop down. 3 For letter-size paper, move the side width guides outward as far as 2 possible. For A4-size paper, move the side width guides inward as far as possible. 4 Place the paper in the tray and make sure that it is flat at all four corners. Chapter 2 Printing tasks

Loading tray 3 (500-sheet tray)
Tray 3 supports only paper (A4 and Letter).
To load tray 3

Pull the tray out of the printer and remove any paper.

To adjust for letter-size paper, pull up on the rear paper stop.
To adjust for A4-size paper, push the rear paper stop down.

For letter-size paper, move the side width guides outward as far as
possible.
For A4-size paper, move the side width guides inward as far as
possible.

Place the paper in the tray and make sure that it is flat at all four
corners. Keep the paper below the hooks on the side and rear of the
tray.

Slide the tray back into the printer.
