Workaround: Refresh the page. 1.4.3 Error message in Storage System Setup Wizard: "Setup encountered an unknown error: 100010" (Issue 87916) In the Storage System Setup Wizard, the storage system initialization process may fail with the following error message: Setup encountered an unknown error: 100010. Contact HP support for help. If you then click Cancel, you receive the following message: Changing 3paradm password failed - Setup encountered an unknown error: 100010. Contact HP Support for help. This issue may occur when you enter non-printable characters in a password, which can occur when you use a copy-and-paste operation to enter the password. Workaround: Type the password in rather than using a copy-and-paste operation. 1.4.4 Cannot re-run Storage System Setup Wizard (Issue 84161) The Storage System Setup Wizard may fail or hang before you start the "Set storage system network configuration" step. In this case, you cannot start the wizard from the beginning or resume the previous session. Workaround: Reboot the SP. 1.4.5 SP and Storage System Setup wizards may not be displayed correctly in Internet Explorer 10 with default security settings (Issue 88190) The Service Processor Setup Wizard and Storage System Setup Wizard may not be displayed correctly by Internet Explorer 10 with default settings. Workaround: The two wizards require that Internet Explorer's active scripting security option is enabled. To allow active scripting for a given Service Processor, click the Add button when you are prompted by Internet Explorer to add the Service Processor's IP address to the Trusted sites zone. NOTE: If the wizard continues to be displayed incorrectly, try refreshing the browser page. Another option is to allow active scripting for all addresses. To do this in Internet Explorer 10: 1. Click the Tools icon, click Internet Options, and then click the Security tab. 2. Select the Internet zone, and then click Custom level. 3. Scroll down to Scripting, click to select Enable under Active Scripting, and then click OK. 4. Click Yes to confirm, and then click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box. 5. Relaunch the wizard. NOTE: If the wizard continues to be displayed incorrectly, try refreshing the browser page. 1.4.6 SmartStart fails to validate a remote folder name that uses special characters (Issue 88780) Folders on a remote host are not validated correctly if their names contain certain non-alphanumeric characters.
