Deleting Asset Groups If you select to delete an asset group, all child asset groups of that asset group are removed from the database. If an Agent running on an asset of the deleted group re-registers (that is, the Agent was restarted) with the Policy Server, a new asset group is created automatically, using the model information in the registration message. To remove an asset group, select the name of the group to display the down arrow. Click the down arrow to display the context menu, shown below, and then select Remove Group. Deleting Asset Groups
If you select to delete an asset group, all child asset groups of that asset group are removed from the
database. If an Agent running on an asset of the deleted group re-registers (that is, the Agent was restarted)
with the Policy Server, a new asset group is created automatically, using the model information in the
registration message. To remove an asset group, select the name of the group to display the down arrow.
Click the down arrow to display the context menu, shown below, and then select
Remove Group
.
When prompted, confirm that you want to delete the asset group.
