Name Description Supported values Directory Server Whether you choose to configure an External Directory Server or not, the installation program sets these properties. The values shown here are for the internal OpenDS directory server. If you are using an external LDAP server, the values you provided during installation should appear in this section of PolicyManager.properties. com.axeda.apm. directory-server. port Specifies the port on the directory server to use for authentication. Specify the port number for Policy Server to use for communication with the directory server. The standard port for LDAP directory servers is 389, which is the default for the internal OpenDS directory server. If you do not use 389 for the OpenDS directory server, you need to make a change to the Tomcat configuration file. com.axeda.apm. directory-server. name Specifies the host name or IP address of the machine where the directory server is running. Specify the IP address or host name of the machine where the directory server is running. For the internal OpenDS, the value is localhost. com.axeda.apm. directory-server. peoplesearch Specifies search information for Specify the appropriate peoplesearch entry for your locating users in the database of the directory server.
