It is a best practice to uniformly upgrade all switches in the SAN. Multiple-path support HP-UX with EVA storage requires the installation of multipathing software on each host to achieve high-availability, multiple-path capability. Native multipathing functionality is now available. Secure Path for HP-UX is no longer required. You can choose HP-UX pvLinks native multipathing solutions. For more information about pvLinks, see the HP-UX operating system documentation. 6
