Overview This document is for the release of the HP StorageWorks SN6000 Stackable 8-Gb 12-port Single Power Fibre Channel Switch, which is the latest addition to the H-series portfolio. The H-series portfolio also includes the SN6000 24-port Fibre Channel Switch and the 8/20q Fibre Channel Switch. These release notes contain late-breaking and supplemental information for these products. It is important that you read these notes before installing your SN6000 Fibre Channel Switch. Firmware version To date, firmware version 8.0.4.04.00 is the latest version released for H-series switches and the only supported version for the SN6000 Fibre Channel Switch. The latest firmware is available on the HP website http://www.hp.com/go/SN6000. The firmware file name is HS_8.0.4.04.00. HP StorageWorks Simple SAN Connection Manager (SSCM) software is included with the purchase of a switch. SSCM version 3.00 is the minimum version required for the HP SN6000 Fibre Channel Switch. HP StorageWorks Enterprise Fabric Management Suite (EFMS) is a separately licensed, workstation-based fabric management GUI.
