Used to reinitialize the loop. An L_port, identified by AL_PS, may have noticed a performance degradation and is trying to restore the loop. A loop initialization primitive frame used to acquire an AL_PA. Denotes a loop failure detected by the L_port identified by AL_PS. A loop initialization primitive frame used to indicate that a Loop Failure has been detected at its receiver and does not have a valid AL_PA. Number of device logins that have occurred on the switch. Number of incidents in which one or more frames greater than the maximum size (2136 bytes) are received. Number of device logouts that have occurred on the switch. Number of loop timeouts. The Loop timeout value (LP_TOV) is 22 seconds. LP_TOV is used to keep a Loop from deteriorating due to protocol errors or lost Ordered Sets. Number of synchronization losses (>100 ms) detected by this port. A loss of synchronization is detected by receipt of an invalid transmission word. Number of invalid transitions made in the Link State Machine. Primitives are recognized words that are not data words. Number of link resets received from a device. Number of offline sequence primitives received by the port. Number of incidents in which one or more frames smaller than the minimum size (24 bytes) are received. Total number of primitive and non-primitive port link errors. Number of link-reset primitives transmitted and received by the port. Number of loop initialization primitive frames received. Number of loop initialization primitive frames transmitted. Number of offline primitives transmitted by the port. Total number of frames received by the port. Total number of words received by the port. Total number of frames transmitted by the port. Total number of words transmitted by the port. Number of link reset primitives sent from this port to an attached port. 94 Managing ports
