The DF-compatible license is required. The encryption switch will not support writing disk LUNs in this version format. Only the DataFort firmware version 3.x compatible encryption (metadata and algorithm) is supported for writing and encrypting the disk LUNs. This requires DF-compatible encryption mode to be set on the LUN and a DF-compatible license. The encryption switch will support reading and decrypting the disk LUNs encrypted by this version of DataFort. The DF-compatible license is required. The encryption switch will not support writing disk LUNs in this version format. Only the DataFort firmware version 3.x compatible encryption (metadata and algorithm) is supported for writing and encrypting the disk LUNs.
