Chapter 6 Security Commands show tacacs-server Send comments to [email protected] show tacacs-server To display TACACS+ server information, use the show tacacs-server command. show tacacs-server [hostname | ip4-address | ip6-address] [directed-request | groups | sorted | statistics] Syntax Description hostname ipv4-address ipv6-address directed-request groups sorted statistics (Optional) TACACS+ server Domain Name Server (DNS) name. The maximum character size is 256. (Optional) TACACS+ server IPv4 address in the A.B.C.D format. (Optional) TACACS+ server IPv6 address in the X:X:X::X format. (Optional) Displays the directed request configuration. (Optional) Displays information about the configured TACACS+ server groups. (Optional) Displays sorted-by-name information about the TACACS+ servers. (Optional) Displays TACACS+ statistics for the TACACS+ servers. Defaults Displays the global TACACS+ server configuration. Command Modes EXEC mode Command History Release 4.0(0)N1(1a) Modification This command was introduced. Usage Guidelines TACACS+ preshared keys are not visible in the show tacacs-server command output. Use the show running-config tacacs+ command to display the TACACS+ preshared keys. You must use the feature tacacs+ command before you can display TACACS+ information.
