Installing Data Protector Express on other devices The Data Protector Express installation on the All-in-One System acts as the master server for a Data Protector Express Management Domain. If you wish to use the All-in-One system as a Disk-To-Disk (D2D) backup target for other client or machines, you may install Data Protector Express on those machines and join the management domain. NOTE: Installing Data Protector Express on other servers is not required to backup Exchange, SQL Server, or User-Defined applications, when those applications are hosted by All-in-One Storage Manager.
