This access method is mandatory if your network does not have a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) server. • Remote browser - Access the storage server through a client running Internet Explorer 5.5 or later. ActiveX controls must be enabled on the remote client and the serial number or IP address of the storage server is required. • Remote desktop - Access the storage server through a client running Remote Desktop Connection. The serial number or IP address of the storage server is required. • Remote management - Access the storage server using either the Integrated Lights-Out 2 or Lights-Out 100 remote management method.
