Product description Right-side components Item Component 1 PC port 2 Auxilliary audio jack 3 Audio-out (headphone) jack 4 Audio-in (microphone) jack 5 USB ports (2) Function The (USB type B) PC port connects an optional secondary computer to the docking station. ✎ Do not use the PC port as a printer connection. Connects an optional MP3 player or other audio device to docking station speakers. Produces sound when connected to optional external powered stereo speakers, headphones, ear buds, a headset, or television audio. ✎ The speakers are muted when a device is connected to the telephone jack. Connects an optional computer headset microphone, stereo array microphone, or monaural microphone. Connects the microphone to the audio-in (microphone) jack on the docking station when a computer is docked. ✎ The docked computer microphone settings may need to be changed before you connect a microphone to the audio-in (microphone) jack on the docking station. Refer to your Windows® operating system instructions for more information. ✎ For specific microphone usage information, refer to the microphone manufacturer's instructions. Connect optional USB devices.
