Connects an optional MP3 player or other audio device to docking station speakers. Produces sound when connected to optional external powered stereo speakers, headphones, ear buds, a headset, or television audio. ✎ The speakers are muted when a device is connected to the telephone jack. Connects an optional computer headset microphone, stereo array microphone, or monaural microphone. Connects the microphone to the audio-in (microphone) jack on the docking station when a computer is docked. ✎ The docked computer microphone settings may need to be changed before you connect a microphone to the audio-in (microphone) jack on the docking station.
