Installing Optional USB Modules There are three optional USB modules available from HP (sold separately): ● (1) a webcam for live video functions ● (2) a retail integrated fingerprint reader to add security identification functions ● (3) a retail integrated dual-head magnetic stripe reader for card data read Figure 2-2 Optional USB Modules The USB modules can be installed on the top of the monitor, the bottom of the monitor, or on either side of the monitor. NOTE: If you are installing a webcam, HP recommends that you install it on top of the monitor for proper video orientation.
