HP NetServer LXr Pro8 with A3661B High Availability Disk Array Model 30/FC Cluster Configuration Guide July 1, 1998 Introduction This document defines the supported HP NetServer LXr Pro8 with the A3661B High Availability Disk Array Model 30/FC (LXr Pro8/Model 30-FC) configurations for Microsoft Cluster Server. These configurations minimize single points of failure and provide maximum availability. They have been certified by HewlettPackard and Microsoft. This guide is prescriptive; it describes the configurations supported by HP. If you create any configuration not expressly allowed by this guide it will not be supported by HP. HP NetServer clusters have been carefully designed and tested to allow as much configuration flexibility as possible consistent with high-availability.
