6. Turn the system board upside down to access the TouchPad cable. 7. Lift the TouchPad cable connector (1) and gently pull the TouchPad cable (2) to remove it. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the keyboard (see Keyboard on page 25). 5. Remove the base enclosure (see Base enclosure on page 28). 6. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 36). 7. Remove the following components: a. Remove the System board on page 42. b. Display video cable if not already removed. c.
