Figure 28 Replacing the battery System Board Removal and Replacement Procedure To remove the system board: NOTE: The system board spare part kit does not contain processors or Memory DIMMs. These have to be moved from the defective board and installed on the new board. Follow directions on the removal and replacement of these parts. 1. Remove the six screws that secure the system board to the tray. 2. Release the system board from the tray. System Board Removal and Replacement Procedure
To remove the system board:
NOTE:
The system board spare part kit does not contain processors or Memory DIMMs. These have
to be moved from the defective board and installed on the new board. Follow directions on the
removal and replacement of these parts.
1.
Remove the six screws that secure the system board to the tray.
2.
Release the system board from the tray.

IMPORTANT:
Do not discard the screws. If the system board is removed in the future, you must keep
them for future use.
To replace the system board:
