Settings System The System Properties dialog box is used to view terminal manufacturer and product information, network settings, and copyright information. You can also reset the terminal to the default factory settings, adjust the memory allocated for storage and running programs, and enter a device name for network identification purposes. To open the System Properties dialog box, select Go > Settings > System. ✎ To reset to factory defaults, click Reset under Terminal Settings in the System Properties dialog box. ✎ Restoring to factory defaults only restores the system level default settings. It does not reset any user account settings. User account settings are reset manually by clearing out the appropriate user files in the "/home" folder. Use the Console shell commands to perform this clearing operation. General Tab The General tab provides basic information about the client. Settings
System
The System Properties dialog box is used to view terminal
manufacturer and product information, network settings, and
copyright information. You can also reset the terminal to the default
factory settings, adjust the memory allocated for storage and running
programs, and enter a device name for network identification
purposes.
To open the System Properties dialog box, select
Go > Settings > System
.
To reset to factory defaults, click
Reset
under Terminal Settings in the
System Properties dialog box.
Restoring to factory defaults only restores the system level default
