Cyclone Separator ! CAUTION ! To reduce the risk of personal injury, unplug vacuum before servicing. Do not use vacuum without dirt cup or filters in place. How to Clean Remove dirt cup as described in Fig. 3.1. 3.3 Twist filter assembly counterclockwise. Remove assembly from dirt cup. 3.4 Dirt and debris can be cleaned from the filter assembly with a towel or rag. Replace the filter assembly on the dirt cup, and twist it clockwise to secure into position. 3.5 Replace dirt cup. When to Clean It is recommended that the Pre- and Post-Motor filter should be checked and cleaned periodically depending on the frequency of use and the volume of dirt being picked up on each occasion. 3.8 3.9 How to Clean Remove dirt cup as described in Fig. 3.1. 3.6 Pull up on dirt cup latch to open. 3.7 Remove Pre-Motor filter. 3.8 Gently tap the filter on the inside of a trash receptacle to remove dust and dirt. 3.9 Hold filter under running water to clean. Replace filter in dirt cup and close lid securely until it clicks. Replace dirt cup as described in Fig 3.5. IMPORTANT Both Pre- and Post-Motor Filters can be rinsed in warm water (max 40°C). Allow to air dry for 24 hours before replacing. Do NOT use any detergents or boiling water to wash filter. What to Buy: Pre-Motor Filter If desired, additional filter is available. How to Clean
Remove dirt cup as described in Fig. 3.1.
