Uninstalling an application 1. On the home screen, touch and hold the icon of the application you want to uninstall until is displayed at the top of the screen. 2. Drag the icon to and follow the onscreen instructions to uninstall application. Some pre-installed applications can't be uninstalled. Backup Backing up data to local storage 1. On the home screen, touch Tools > Backup. 2. Touch New backup. 3. Select the data you want to back up, and follow the onscreen instructions to back it up. By default, backup data are saved to the HuaweiBackup folder in Files. Backup files can be encrypted and password-protected. You need to enter a password to access encrypted backup files. Restoring data from local storage 1. On the home screen, touch Tools > Backup. 2. Select the backup file you want to restore. You can use the files' backup time as a reference. 3. If the backup file has been encrypted, enter the password when prompted, and touch OK. 4. Select the data you want to restore, and touch Restore.
