7 DSC OPERATION ■■Receiving DSC calls DDReceiving a Distress Call/Distress Acknowledgement [Example]: Receiving a Distress Call. When a Distress Call is received: ➥➥The emergency alarm sounds for 2 minutes. ➥➥"RCVD DISTRESS" is displayed and the backlight blinks. qqPush [ALARM OFF] to stop the alarm and the blinking backlight. • Even if you do not push [ALARM OFF], the alarm stops after 2 minutes, and then the screen in step w is displayed. wwPush a softkey to select your desired action. [IGN] ➥➥ Push to return to the normal operating mode. • The transceiver exits the DSC mode. • By pushing [PTT], the transceiver also exits the DSC mode. • " " continues to blink and the Call is stored in the Received Call Log. 52 [INFO] ➥➥Push to display the Re- ceived call information.
