Setting TV parental controls Note Unless otherwise noted, all tasks in this section are based on using the remote control. You can set an age limitation on your TV/Blu-ray combo to restrict children from viewing or hearing violent scenes or pictures that you choose to exclude. The restriction applies to TV ratings and movie ratings if this data is transmitted. You may set this restriction separately. To use the V-chip feature, you must set and use a password.
