SECTION 11-RETAINING STRAP SECTION 11-RETAINING STRAP ƽ WARNING After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure all attaching hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may occur. Replacing Battery Box Retaining Strap - 22NF Battery Base Frames NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 11.1. 1. Remove the battery box. Refer to Removing/Installing the 22NF Battery Box on page 106. ƽ WARNING The retaining strap MUST be fed through the adjustable end of the battery box retaining strap clip as shown in FIGURE 11.1. Retaining Strap Clip 2. Feed the battery box retaining strap through the adjustable end of the battery box retaining strap clip. 3. Feed the battery box retaining strap through the slots in the battery box tray. NOTE: The folded over portion of the retaining strap stops at the slot. DO NOT try to force the folded over section through the slot. 4. Install the new battery box retaining strap by reversing STEPS 2 and 3. 5. Reinstall the battery box. Refer to Removing/Installing the 22NF Battery Box on page 106. ƽ WARNING The Battery Box Retaining Strap MUST be fastened securely in place before using the wheelchair. There is no need to remove the tray from the wheelchair if the strap is being replaced. Replacing Battery Box Retaining Strap - 22NF Battery
Base Frames
NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 11.1.
1.
Remove the battery box. Refer to Removing/Installing the 22NF Battery Box
on
page 106.

WARNING
The retaining strap MUST be fed
through the adjustable end of the bat-
tery box retaining strap clip as shown in
FIGURE 11.1.
2.
Feed the battery box retaining strap
through the adjustable end of the
battery box retaining strap clip.
3.
Feed the battery box retaining strap
through the slots in the battery box tray.
NOTE: The folded over portion of the retaining
strap stops at the slot. DO NOT try to force the
folded over section through the slot.
4.
Install the new battery box retaining
strap by reversing STEPS 2 and 3.
5.
Reinstall the battery box. Refer to
Removing/Installing the 22NF Battery
Box
on page 106.
