Invacare® Homecare Beds Before placing the bed into use, test the bed by operating it through all phases of operation. 1. If any problems arise during the test, recheck all electrical connections and mechanical hook ups. 2. Full electric beds use a six-function pendant for all bed operations. 3. Semi-electric beds use a four-function pendant for head and foot spring operations and a hand crank for Hi/Lo bed operation. 4. Manual beds use three hand cranks for all bed operations. To operate the Semi-Electric bed using the four button controller, refer to 5.3 Operating the Semi-Electric Bed, page 34 . To operate the Manual bed using the three hand cranks, refer to 5.4 Operating the Manual Bed, page 36. DANGER!
