FM AUDIO IN When an FM program is broadcasted in stereo, ST (stereo) lights up on the display (only when the reception is good). Press: Changes the frequency. Hold down and release: The unit starts searching for stations and stops when a station of sufficient signal strength is found. • To stop searching, press again. Tunes in to a preset station: Press repeatedly to select a preset station number. (For presetting stations, see page 18.) - Changes the FM reception mode: When an FM stereo broadcast is hard to receive or noisy, press to improve - reception. MONO (monaural) lights up on the display. Reception will improve though the stereo effect is lost. • To restore the stereo effect, press again. AM band is not received with this unit. 17
