9. CONNECT THE TUBING TO THE REFRIGERATOR NOTES: ° Before making the connection to the refrigerato b be sure the refrigerator power cord is not plugged into the wall outlet. ° If your refrigerator does not have a water fiiteb we recommend installing one. If your water supply has sand or particles that could dog the screen of the refrigerator's water valve. Install the fiJter in the water Jine near the refrigerator. |O.TURN THE WATER ON AT THE SHUT OFF VALVE Tighten any connections that Reattach the compressor compartment access cover. Jeak. IMPORTANT: Do not use aid, worn or used waterlines, only use new for a better use and service. Connect onJy to the supply of drinking water for your safety and health. Remove the plastic flexible cap from the water valve connection. 11. PLUG IN THE REFRIGERATOR Arrange the coil of tubing so that it does not vibrate against the back of the refrigerator or against the wall. Push the refrigerator back to the wall. Place the compression nut and ferrule (sleeve) onto the end of the tubing. Insert the end of the tubing into the connection as far as possible. While holding the tubing_ tighten the fitting. 12. START THE ICE MAKER Set the icemaker power switch to the I (ON) position. The Jcemaker will not begin to operate unfiJ it reaches its operating temperature of 15°F (-9°C) or below. It will then begin operation automatJcaJJy if the Jcemaker power switch is in the I (ON) position. Refrigerator Connection Ferule (sleeve) Tubing Clamp 1/4 " Compression Nut 1/4 Tubing Fasten the tubing into the tubing Clamp attached to the back of the refrigeraton First_ loosen the screw fastening the clamp. the fitting.

ICE
MAKER
Set
the
icemaker
power
switch
to
the
I (ON)
position.
The
Jcemaker
will
not
begin
to
operate
unfiJ
it
reaches
its
operating
temperature
of

below.

Jcemaker
