General operation Auxiliary input display setting Sets the display when switched to AUX source. 1 Select the AUX source Press the [SRC] button. Select the "AUX" display. 2 Enter Function setting mode Press the Control knob for at least 1 second. 3 Select the Name set mode The item can be selected and determined as follows. "Settings" > "AUX Name Set" To select the item, turn the Control knob. To determine the item, press the Control knob. 4 Sets the display of the AUX source Turn the Control knob to select Auxiliary input display, and then press the Control knob. Select "AUX", "DVD", "PORTABLE", "GAME", "VIDEO", or "TV". 5 Exit Function setting mode Press the [ ] button for at least 1 second. Function of KDC-X595, KDC-448U Muting the audio upon reception of phone call The audio system automatically mutes when a call comes in. When a call comes in "CALL" is displayed. The audio system pauses. Listening to the audio during a call Press the [SRC] button. The "CALL" display disappears and the audio system comes back ON. When the call ends Hang up the phone. The "CALL" display disappears and the audio system comes back ON. ⁄ • To use the TEL Mute feature, you need to hook up the MUTE wire to your telephone using a commercial telephone accessory.
