Chapter 8 Transferring Pictures To transfer pictures from your camera to your computer: 1 Place the camera in the Camera Dock. Connect 2 Push the Connect button. m The Camera Dock light blinks green while the connection to the computer is active. m If installed, KODAK Picture Transfer Software automatically opens on your computer and your pictures are transferred. You can also transfer your pictures manually while the green light is blinking. See page 52. m Then, KODAK Picture Software opens so you can work with your pictures on your computer. For further details, see Chapter 7, Using Pictures on Your Computer. NOTE: When your pictures are transferred, leave the camera in the Camera Dock. Ten minutes after the transfer is complete, the Camera Dock begins to monitor battery power and then begins charging whenever necessary. When Using a Tripod For stability when using a tripod, remove the camera from the Camera Dock and connect the tripod directly to the camera, rather than through the Camera Dock. The camera tripod socket is located on the bottom of the camera. 60
