3 Setting Up the Ethernet Connection Before you connect You need to: • Have a functional Ethernet network that includes a router, switch, or hub with an Ethernet port. • Have a Category 5 (or higher) Ethernet cable. • Temporarily disable your firewall until the printer is successfully installed and communicating. Connecting to an Ethernet network 1. Connect the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on the back of the printer. 2. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable into an available Ethernet port on your router, switch, or hub. 3. Install the KODAK All-in-One Printer Software on your computer. Setting Up the Ethernet Connection
Before you connect
