Taking pictures and videos Setting Icon Long Time Exposure Choose how long the shutter stays open. This setting remains until you change modes or turn off the camera. Image Storage Choose a storage location for pictures and videos. This setting remains until you change it. Set Album Choose Album names. Video Length Choose video duration. Setup Menu Choose additional settings. Options (unavailable as noted) None, 1.0, 2.0, 4.0, 8.0, 16.0 seconds Leave the shutter open longer for low-light conditions. Use a tripod or steady surface. NOTE: Exposure Compensation is set to zero and ISO is set to Auto (ISO 100). Unavailable in Video and Scene modes (exception-available in Landscape). Auto (default)-the camera uses the card if one is in the camera. If not, the camera uses internal memory. Internal Memory-the camera always uses internal memory, even if a card is inserted. On or Off Pre-select album names before you take pictures or videos. Then, all the pictures or videos you take are tagged with those album names. See page 22.
