Default Setting (System Menu) Sleep Timer: D b (1 - 240) ******15*min. 6 Press the OK key. Sleep Timer appears. 7 Press the U or V key to set the Sleep Timer. Set the amount of time before entering the sleep state in minutes. You cannot use the numeric keys to enter this value. 8 Press the OK key. Completed. is displayed and the screen returns to the Timer Settings menu. Sleep Level Detailed settings can be selected for sleep mode. Detailed settings for sleep mode are called Energy Saver mode. When a function is set in Energy Saver mode and the function sends data to the machine, the machine does not execute the function. When Quick Recovery is specified, the machine wakes from sleep mode when any kind of data is received. Example: When print data is sent from a PC connected by USB Quick Recovery Energy Saver When the machine receives print data, it wakes from sleep mode and starts printing. The machine does not wake from sleep mode when it receives print data and printing does not take place. NOTE: On a product with the fax function, the setting is fixed at Quick Recovery.
