3.7 Selecting Original Settings 3 3.7 Selecting Original Settings The type and conditions of the document that you wish to copy can be selected. ✎ Reference For details on specifying the type of copy, refer to "Selecting Copy Settings" on page 3-37. Basic Copy Operations Chapter 3 The following Original settings are available. Single-Sided Original ("1" Setting) Select this setting when single-sided sheet documents are being copied. Double-Sided Original ("2" Setting) Select this setting when double-sided sheet documents are being copied. Books ("Book Copy" Settings) Select one of these settings when page spreads, such as in books or pamphlets, are being copied. A Frame/Center Erase setting can also be selected. The following Book Copy settings are available. Book Separation ("Separation" Book setting) Select this setting to copy each of the two pages of a page spread, such as an open book or pamphlet, onto separate pages. 3-27
