4. TROUBLE SHOOTING 4.15 Folder on/off trouble Folder On/Off(Close/Open) is worked as below : Folder On/Off Event → Flip(U901 pin 1,key board) is triggered(Open : about 2.6V, Close : 0V) → MSM6275 Sense the Folder Flip Event. Sensing signal is directly connected to MSM6275. Start NO Check the magnet in folder Assy Yes Approach the magnet to U901 Insert the magnet Check the U901 NO And check the R923 for VREG_MSMP_2.7V FLIP(U901 pin 1) is 0V? Yes Check the connector (Main to LCD) Change the Folder Work well? Yes End NO Change the Main Board magnet R923 (VREG_MSMP_2.7V) U901 (Flip sense IC) - 117 -

4.15 Folder on/off trouble
Folder On/Off(Close/Open) is worked as below :
Folder On/Off Event
→
Flip(U901 pin 1,key board) is triggered(Open : about 2.6V, Close : 0V)
→
MSM6275 Sense the Folder Flip Event.
Sensing signal is directly connected to MSM6275.
Check the connector (Main to LCD)
Change the Folder
Insert the magnet
Check the magnet in
folder Assy
Approach the magnet to U901
FLIP(U901 pin 1) is 0V?
Yes
NO
Yes
Check the U901
And check the R923
for VREG_MSMP_2.7V
NO
Work well?
Start
End
Yes
NO
Change the Main Board
U901 (Flip sense IC)
magnet
R923 (VREG_MSMP_2.7V)
