Important information Your system board, which contains an IBM embedded security subsystem, has been replaced during servicing of your computer. If you have done all of the following, you will not be able to log on: v Downloaded and installed IBM Client Security Software version 5.x or earlier v Enabled the IBM User Verification Manager (UVM) secure logon interface v Had your system board replaced during servicing of your computer Restoring your encryption keys To restore your security keys and regain access to your IBM embedded security subsystem, follow the directions on the http://www.pc.ibm.com/qtechinfo/MIGR46112.html Web site. If your computer requires a security key restoration, you will not be able to download the utility from the Internet using the serviced computer. You must use another computer to download the required utility. Telephone technical support If you cannot use another computer or cannot access the Web site to download the utility, call the IBM HelpCenter® for further assistance. An IBM service representative will guide you through a manual recovery of your system. Provide reference code MIGR-46303 when you contact a service representative.
