Troubleshooting Symptom Dark Lines Light colored line, white line, or wrong colored line ABCDE ABCDE ABCDE Cause Solution A toner cartridge, a photodeveloper, or the transfer belt is defective. If the problem is on the front (print side) of the page: 1 Replace the color cartridge causing the line. 2 If you still have the problem, replace the photodeveloper (black alone or all other colors at once). Dark Lines
A toner cartridge, a
photodeveloper, or the transfer
belt is defective.
If the problem is on the front (print side) of
the page:

Replace the color cartridge causing the
line.

colors at once).
If the problem is on the back of the page,
replace the transfer belt.
